Dr. Yılmaz is a distinguished legal professional and academic with a profound specialization in Private International Law and complex private law disputes. Following her graduation from Marmara University Faculty of Law, she built a robust career in legal practice, encompassing international contract law, construction and real estate law, arbitration, commercial law, and private international law.

Dr. Yılmaz spent over a decade as a co-founder and partner at Topuz & Partners Consultancy and Law Firm. Today, he seamlessly integrates his extensive field experience with her academic role as a faculty member in the Department of Private International Law at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University.

Beyond his academic and litigation work, she is a certified mediator, a court-appointed expert witness, and a concordatum commissioner. Her leadership in the legal community is further evidenced by her role as the Secretary General of the Arbitration Law Center of the Istanbul Bar Association and her board membership at the Istanbul Arbitration Association (ISTA).
